Finding Shades of Green can be easy if you are driving through either I-75 to the west or I-95 to the east. Once you make it to the I-4 corridor, you’ll find the Walt Disney World highway system is extremely easy to navigate, with signs that are well marked. Shades of Green is located in the Magic Kingdom resort area, right across from Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

If you’re flying, you’ll arrive at Orlando International Airport (MCO). From there, you may find ground transportation options to Shades of Green, which is about a 30-40-minute drive away.

Disney Magical Express only goes to the Disney Resort Hotels. They do not go to Shades of Green. To use the service you must have a resort hotel reservation and pre-arrange the transportation.

Mears is no longer doing the Disney Magical Express.

Mears has another bus service called the Mears Connect. Round trip service from the airport to the Shades of Green is @$32.00. Book the transportation on https://www.mearsconnect.com/?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

Mears Connect offers a standard, shared service with monitored wait times and limited stops, as well as an express service that is considered to be a direct service.

You can book once you have your flight details confirmed. Mears Connect will be tracking your flight and communicating with you when you arrive, which is why they require this information. Your departure pick-up time from your resort is also based on your departure flight’s information. To reserve, you’ll list the Mears Connect page, select the service you want, input the required information about your drop-off and pick-up location, your flight details and your party. Then you’ll make the payment required. Return transportation will be scheduled to meet you at your resort up to 3 hours in advance of your flight’s departure time.

Also recently begun is another shuttle bus service - Sunshine Flyer - sunshineflyer.com - cost is @30.60.

Reservations for the Sunshine Flyer must be made at least 4 days ahead of your arrival. To book, visit the website and put in the required information about where you want to be picked up, where you’ll be headed, and the dates of your trip. You should select the hour in which your flight departs, but your pickup time will actually have you arriving at the airport 2 hours before your flight.

With each you’ll receive confirmation emails the day before you check out.
